Bianucci Deborah Bianucci
President & CEO
As BAI's President & CEO, Debbie leads the BAI team to find new and innovative ways to provide high-value, objective information and education to the financial services industry. Debbie has been in financial services for over 30 years, and has held senior positions with several major financial services companies. With 20 years at BAI, Debbie is a frequent speaker at industry events and has authored numerous books and articles on financial services topics. She holds an M.B.A and a B.A. in Journalism, both from Drake University.

Dubnicka Thomas Dubnicka
Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
Tom has executive responsibility for finance, accounting and business planning & operations. In this role, Tom works closely with each of BAI's lines of business to develop and execute major initiatives and business plans and he has overall executive responsibility for our Learning & Development line of business. Tom joined BAI as Chief Financial Officer in 2006. Previously, he served as CFO for several residential and business-oriented service companies. He has an M.B.A. in Finance from the University of Maryland and a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Purdue University.

Ann Barcroft
Executive Vice President
Ann has executive responsibility for BAI's Human Resources, Information Technology, Facilities Management and Customer Support Services departments. Ann joined BAI in 1995 and became Executive Vice President in 2005. Prior to joining BAI, Ann worked for MasterCard International. She received her B.A. in English Literature & French from DePauw University.

Dolan Dana Dolan
Managing Director, Solutions Provider Services
Dana leads Solutions Provider Services and is responsible for all aspects of interaction with this important customer segment including product design and development, sales and marketing. Dana joined BAI in 2007 after holding senior marketing positions for Participate Systems and Caremark, Inc. Dana has an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, and a B.S. in Business Administration/Marketing from the University of Illinois.

Bill Hippensteel Bill Hippensteel
Managing Director, Content
Bill is responsible for the overall direction of BAI’s content development including BAI Banking Strategies Online, BAI Banking Strategies Daily, other online content. Prior to joining BAI in 2011, Bill was EVP and Director of Product and Segment Management for BBVA Compass. He previously held executive marketing and product management roles for Fifth Third and AMCORE Financial. Bill has an M.B.A. in Marketing from Western Michigan University and a B.S. in Finance from Michigan State University. He is a graduate of the Stonier Graduate School of Banking and the Wharton Business School/BBVA Marketing Graduate Program.

Matsumoto Anne Matsumoto
Managing Director, BAI Knowledge Network
Anne is responsible for BAI’s industry-leading event portfolio which includes BAI Retail Delivery and other conferences, web events, and online publishing. She oversees product development, content development and event operations. Anne joined BAI in 1999 after a number of years at Bank of America and Cole Taylor Bank. She received her M.B.A. in Marketing & Finance and B.F.A.in Fine Arts, both from the University of Illinois.

Nagarkatte Ajay Nagarkatte
Managing Director, Research
Ajay is responsible for developing and managing major strategic research initiatives for BAI. Besides his experience at BAI which began in 2002, he has several years of senior-level strategic advisory experience focusing on financial institutions, having held positions at KPMG, ZEFER and Ernst & Young Consulting. Prior to that, he spent several years in the insurance and mutual fund sectors. He received an M.B.A. in Strategy and Economics from the University of Chicago and a master's degree in Operations Research from Case Western Reserve University.

Jack Thurston Jack Thurston
Managing Director, Corporate Marketing
Jack is responsible for all aspects of corporate marketing, brand, integrated marketing for all lines of business, and marketing analytics. He joined BAI in 2007 and has over 12 years of strategic marketing experience within the financial services industry.  Prior to joining BAI, Jack was a vice president in Marketing at LaSalle Bank, and also served as a journalist in the U.S. Navy.  He holds an M.B.A. in Marketing and Management from the University of Illinois and a B.A. in English from Eastern Illinois University.

Hartney Jeff Hartney
Managing Director, Business Development-Research
Jeff is responsible for business development and client relationship management for BAI Research. He joined BAI in 2003 and has over 20 years of experience in technology sales and sales management with such organizations as CheckFree Corporation and Xerox. Jeff holds an M.B.A. in Marketing from the University of Illinois and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame.

Hoscheidt Tom Hoscheidt
Managing Director, Research
Tom is responsible for product development and managing operational support for benchmarking programs and related research products. Tom joined BAI in 2004 with over 20 years of financial services research and marketing management experience including primary research, benchmarking, software development, strategic planning, and consulting with Raddon Financial Group and Champion Federal Savings & Loan. He holds an M.B.A. from Illinois State University and a B.S. in Marketing from Southern Illinois University.
