    Paul McAdam to Lead Product Development at BAI

February 26, 2008 (Chicago, IL) — BAI announced that Paul McAdam has been named senior managing director of product development and will lead enterprise innovation and product development across BAI’s events, training, research and publishing lines of business.

“Given our strategic focus to better meet the needs of key segments of the financial services market with an expanded and diversified portfolio of products and distribution channels, Paul McAdam is uniquely qualified to assume this important executive role,” stated Debbie Bianucci, president and chief executive officer of BAI.  In addition, Ms. Bianucci stated, “In recent years BAI has made considerable progress in strengthening our leadership position within of our lines of business.  With these core capabilities in place, we now are making significant investments in new product development to further increase BAI’s relevance and ability to meet the information needs of financial services professionals in retail banking and payments.”

Mr. McAdam is a seasoned professional with nearly twenty years of diverse managerial experience as an information-services provider to financial services executives and as a financial services practitioner.  Over the past five years, Mr. McAdam led the organic growth of BAI’s Market Intelligence and Research business to provide a wide array of subscription-based performance measurement and syndicated research offerings for the top 50 U.S. banks and Fortune 500 technology solutions providers serving the financial services vertical market. 

Mr. McAdam will lead efforts to expand BAI’s market reach through strategic alliances and serve as a lead point of contact with industry executives in business development discussions.  He will provide executive oversight of BAI’s enterprise-wide new product development process that is designed to generate new and innovative offerings on retail banking, payments, retirement and human capital topics.  Paul will lead a team of seasoned industry professionals who will work with BAI’s line-of-business managers and industry executives to design and launch new products.
