About Jeffrey A. Schmidt

Jeffrey A. Schmidt, the founder of Third Path Consulting and Research, was recognized as one of the visionaries in the field of human capital management at a recent conference of the Society of Human Resource Management. Prior to founding Third Path, he was managing director for innovation at Towers Perrin, where he managed the Chicago office and central region of the Strategy and Organization consulting division. He holds a B.S. degree in engineering management with honors from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point and an M.B.A. degree from Harvard University.
