About Catherine S. Kenworthy

Title: Senior Vice President, Corporate Marketing & Communications

Current Position: Consumer Segment Marketing executive at Bank of America Corp. The teams she manages are responsible for all marketing and communications efforts across the Consumer Banking and Consumer Products segments. Her responsibilities include Quality Checking, Quality Mortgage, Retail Banking Store Initiative, Regional Marketing and Consumer Sales and Service Readiness. She also serves on the Management Operating Committee and the Diversity Advisory Council.

Previous Experience: Kenworthy joined Bank of America in 2001 as Insurance Services Executive, leading sales and service of all insurance products for retail and business customers. In 2002, she became Consumer Deposits executive, where her teams focused on product strategy, development and distribution for consumer deposit products.

Before joining Bank of America, Kenworthy managed development and implementation of e-business platforms for General Electric Mortgage Corp. in Raleigh, N.C.

From 1991 to 1997, she was a consultant with McKinsey & Co. in Washington, D.C., where she was a senior engagement manager, responsible for leading project teams to provide strategic consulting services to clients who were primarily in the financial, insurance and utility industries.

She began her career as a financial analyst in the corporate finance department of Drexel Burnham Lambert, Inc., in New York.

Education: Master's degree in management from MIT Sloan School of Management in Cambridge, Mass. Graduate of Georgetown University, with majors in chemistry and mathematics.
