Speaking Proposals

If you’re interested in participating as a presenter at a BAI event or serving as a subject matter expert for BAI content, we invite your proposals. Participation with BAI offers other benefits including being identified with the BAI brand, exposure to the financial services industry at large through various extended marketing opportunities, as well as being positioned as a thought leader and subject matter expert. In addition, if you are selected as a presenter for one of our conferences, you will receive a complimentary, full conference registration. Please note: BAI does not reimburse speaker expenses.

Speaking Opportunities

  • Pre-conference workshops are typically 3 hours, including Q&A, discussion, and exercises.
  • Conference session presentations are typically one hour in length, including Q&A.
  • Seminars run from a day to two full days, with average length a day and a half.
  • Webinars vary in length (60-90 minutes).

Conference Specific Submission Deadlines

  • BAI TransPaySM Conference & Expo: Speaking proposals are due by July 31, 2008. Successful candidates will be contacted by September 30, 2008.
  • BAI National Loan Review Conference: Speaking proposals are due by September 26, 2008. Successful candidates will be contacted by December 12, 2008.
  • BAI National Loan Operations Conference: Speaking proposals are due by September 26, 2008. Successful candidates will be contacted by December 12, 2008.
  • Profitability and Performance Measurement Conference from BAI and AMIfs: Speaking proposals are due by September 26, 2008. Successful candidates will be contacted by December 12, 2008.

Presentation Requirements

  • Presentations must be prepared in an educational, case study format highlighting the strategic motivations and results achieved by a financial services company or must teach a particular skill or set of skills necessary to succeed and prosper within the financial services industry.
  • Presentations by industry solutions providers and consulting firms should incorporate a case study co-presented by an executive from a financial services client.
  • If your content is selected, an electronic and a hard copy of the presentation must be delivered to BAI no later than 30 days prior to the conference.
  • Please know that attendees expect and tend to rate highly strategic content that provides practical take-aways.
