In a challenging business environment, the lending organization’s need for early problem loan detection, adherence to underwriting standards, and examination of credit policy exceptions is more important than ever. Safety and soundness rules set guidelines for the establishment of an independent credit review system and failure to follow these guidelines could result in a regulatory supervisory action.
By developing your skills as a highly trained and vigilant loan review professional, you are contributing to a strong and sustainable credit culture in your organization.
BAI’s Loan Review Certificate Program helps banking professionals successfully perform key credit assessment and portfolio management responsibilities. This two-part certificate program covers a broad range of topics and concepts from cash flow analysis to collateral evaluation to loan loss reserves. Case studies are used extensively to fully develop the concepts being taught and prepare students for the real life challenges they will face in the workplace.
