Exhibitor Appointed Contractors (EACs)
Exhibitor Appointed Contractors (EAC’s) are independent contractors hired by exhibiting companies. They can include labor building your booth, booth supervisors, booth designers, independent display companies, delivery personnel, technicians, Manufacturing Reps, etc. An EAC will be granted access to the expo only if BAI has received the Exhibitor Appointed Contractor form and valid Certificate of Insurance.
Guidelines and Regulations:
STEP 1
The exhibiting company needs to notify BAI about the EAC hired. Complete and submit the Exhibitor Appointed Contractor Form no later than Friday, February 3, 2012.

STEP 2
EAC’s are to submit a valid Certificate of Insurance to BAI no later than thirty (30) days prior to the first day of exhibitor move in. Please note that BAI, Freeman, SmithBucklin, The Mirage, its parents, subsidiaries and affiliates must be named as additionally insured. Please make sure the EAC includes which exhibiting company they will be working for.

Certificate of Insurance
In order to protect the Exhibitor, BAI, Freeman, SmithBucklin and The Mirage, its parents, subsidiaries and affiliates and your exhibit property against loss, damage, theft, or injury of any nature, and any claims arising from any activities conducted at The Mirage, Exhibitor, at their own expense, will carry the following insurance:
Comprehensive General Liability
- $1,000,000 with respect to injuries to any one person in any occurrence
- $2,000,000 with respect to injuries to more than one person in any occurrence
- $5,000,000 with respect to damage of property.
Comprehensive Automobile Insurance
Covering owned and non-owned vehicles as well as loading and unloading hazards with the below minimum limits:
- $1,000,000 per occurrence for bodily injury
- $500,000 for property damage
Workers Compensation and Employer’s Liability insurance to statutory limits.
The policy term of your insurance will be for the duration of the Conference, including all move–in and move–out days. Further, Exhibitor agrees to add BAI, Freeman, SmithBucklin and The Mirage, its parents, subsidiaries, and affiliates as “additional insured” on their policy for the dates of the Conference (March 12-14, 2012).
All issuing insurance companies must have authorization to do business in the state of Nevada.
BAI must receive written proof indicating “additional insured” status, no later than thirty (30) days prior to the first day of exhibitor move in.
