BAI Global Innovation Awards

Awards celebrating the thinkers, doers and dreamers shaping financial services.

For over a dozen years, BAI Global Innovation Awards have stood as the premier innovation honor for the financial services industry, putting the field’s boldest, smartest and most transformational thinking center stage.

The ideas we honor run the gamut, from powerful new technologies to novel ways to leverage customers insights, from customer experience advances to community enrichment initiatives. Our submissions arrive from all parts of the industry and all corners of the globe and range from the highly complex to the deceptively simple.

We believe innovation is essential.

What submissions to the BAI Global Innovation Awards share in common is the pure spirit of innovation — a willingness to upend conventional wisdom, disrupt the status quo and make a measurable mark on their organizations, their customers, their employees and their communities.

Innovation is what creates better businesses, improves the quality of our lives, and drives positive change. And it’s as powerful and necessary in the financial services industry as anywhere, especially as the COVID-19 pandemic has forced new ways of working and serving customers.

The BAI Global Innovation Awards exists to be a catalyst for innovation in the financial services industry worldwide. So that together, as global innovators, we can continue to move the industry forward.

BAI Rising Star Award

As part of the BAI Global Innovation Awards, we’ve added the BAI Rising Stars Award, honoring up-and-coming leaders in the financial services industry. The award is given to candidates who are innovative, passionate, intellectually curious and making a positive impact in financial services.

If there’s an up-and-coming innovative leader in your organization, tell us what drives their success and makes them stand out. Be sure to nominate your rising star by June 30! All nominations must be submitted via the awards portal.

“The BAI Global Innovation Award win was a huge feather in our proverbial cap. Not only did the award globally recognize our achievement as a relatively new South African Life Insurance business trying to make a difference to the lives of our customers, but also gave our incredible team a motivational boost – enabling us to use our globally validated thinking to take our business to new heights, always with our customers top-of-mind.

We continue to strive towards being a business that continually innovates and finds new ways to disrupt the market and improve customer journeys and experiences, with our Dynamic Life offering laying a solid foundation for us to build on. Thank you to BAI for providing us with the platform to do this – the exposure received has had an overall positive impact on our brand and is used to create trust with our customers when selling this excellent product.”
